They're a great couple of groups. The Romsey chapter average 9-10 mph (sometimes a little faster and cover anywhere from 30-45 miles). Their Winchester brethren are a little faster but cover the same distance, abeit with probably more hills as it heads further north into Hampshire. Both groups wait for riders who aren't so good at the uphills.

There's also the tea-rides, afternoon 15-20 milers with an excuse for tea and cake (even a stop in an ice-cream parlour!).
