Nice pics AlbionLass - I instantly recognise the view from the bridge over the Trent on the Cloud Trail. Always my favourite bit there where the trail crosses the river then the canal.

Must get round to adding some pics of my own.

Lived in worthington for 18 years, and never actually cycled the trail, it was only just finished when we moved. The worst part about it is that the railway line used to carry on through to newbold, but the farmer "recovered" the land by ploughing the line in and parcel force built over parts of it. Too bad to as there's a fantastic brick tunnel running under newbold for quite a distance. We used to range all over it as kids.

On what is now part of national route 63 near Swadlincote, may 2010. Basket and dog are optional. Unfortunately my wife can't cycle any more due to a dodgy knee which she damaged while dancing - and she says I should wear a helmet...
