Lovely pics everyone!

But now I'm frustrated because I can't load my weak attempt at what I consider to be a nice English village scene. I've read the links earlier but so far to no avail. Just reminds me how computer illiterate I am! I'll revisit again in a better mood at a later date. All the more frustrating because I managed to upload pictures on the previous format at the first proper attempt!

Again, great images. Thanks

They look a bit odd but are in fact one of the things that worked really well on my bike - a Surly LHT frame built up with old and new parts. The drop is less than usual by about an inch. I find that compared to my old bars the bar end shifters are much easier to reach. They are made by PLT. I think this is them ..

Oops! Counts again and sees which picture is third down. My mistake. If I knew how they worked I'd have a red faced smilie here!

Threipmuir reservoir from Blacklaw. This might be a bit of a cheat as I was walking when I took this specific pic, but have cycled the route several times, so hope that is OK. It's a cracking view!

A couple more from our trips to France last September both taken by the better half.
First one is the promenade at Le Touquet where they had lots of tiny mirrored bits in the walkway, second one is the impending sunset & beach at Fort Mahon Plage near where we stayed, mmmmm sunshine & warm weather 8)

Loch Carron_1.jpg
Loch Carron, NW Scotland

Is this the Carron Valley Resevoir? I've been told about the Tak-ma-Doon road from Kilsyth, and on a map it looks like this is at the top of the hill there. Is this it?
