I thought the idea was not to get any takers. Unless it was George Clooney or whatever your choice.

I'd have to have a tabard particularly specifying NOT George Clooney lol.

Maybe I'll have to try and find the 'Caution Young Horse' and 'Please Pass Wide and Slow' vests that I used to wear when horse riding.

Bumped to report on progress after a week of wearing the 'I DON'T RIDE ON THE PAVEMENT!' fluoro vest.

Despite dire warnings from Mrs Ericonabike [you're going to get thumped if you wear that] the signs have been positive to date. No honks or shouts or even revved engines behind me. Only drwaback is that I do feel I've crossed some kind of social barrier, and that if I'm not careful I'll be the guy you used to see going up and down Oxford Street carrying a 'PROTEIN KILLS' placard.

Yes, if you give us the link to your supplier, I will get thinking about a suitable slogan.

So far it's:

You need how big an engine to get up this hill?

You paid how much for diesel??

You've been waiting how long in this traffic?

You're late, aren't you.

You ought to get a convertible

Too fast? Too close?

Driving two abreast again?

Supplied by Hivis.net - the mesh vest at http://www.hivis.net/c5/High-Visibility/Hi-Vis-Vests/ Cheap, efficient and quick - my only gripe was paying two sets of postage for two items delivered in the same package. You only get three lines of text, so creativity is called for...

It's brevity that's called for. Not my strong suit so I can't advise further.

PS I rather like the idea of an executive version:

Interesting choices. I like this one... just wonder if its `too' police-y for the police...

How about having an abridged version of Rule 162 on the back of a jersey.

I quite fancy something like this. Simple message, easy to understand and you can pick it out with hi-vis tape.
