From beyond the grave? John DeLorean died in 2005.

But actually in later years he moved on to doing something that sounds to me like advance fee fraud. From the wikipedia article:

"In the years before his death, DeLorean planned to resurrect his car company, and gave interviews describing a new vehicle called the DMC2.[16] In an effort to gather funds for this venture, he designed and sold high-end watches via the internet under the name DeLorean Time.[17] Made of what appeared in promotions to be injection molded stainless steel, the watches sold for $3,495. By purchasing one you were placed on a waiting list for the chance to buy one of the first DMC2s when they became available. None of the watches seem to have ever been built or delivered to customers before DeLorean's death."

But this bicycle seems to be nothing to do with the DeLorean family. It seems to come from the DeLorean Motor Company, which still seems to exist, mainly as a source of repairs, spare parts, etc, and would of course own the name. Since DeLorean was bankrupted and the company put into receivership, he would have had no further ownership of it, he would probably even have lost the name (like David Lloyd and the clubs which are not his any more). As it says on the (bicycle) website:

"A conversation started between good friends Stephen Wynne (Delorean Motor Company) and Marc Moore (Entrepreneur, Passionate Cyclist & Former Delorean Owner) about building possibly building a bicycle that could bear the DeLorean name, but do so without giving up anything to best bicycle manufacturers of today. "

But otherwise there is no obvious clue on the website itself whose the website is or when it was put up, though no doubt some techie could find that out in moments.

Good luck reaching 88mph, I also notice there's no dynamo which obviously is needed to generate the 1.21GW of power required (although it may be possible to replace that with a whip 'antenna' and do a lot of riding in thunderstorms...).

Which has a shell website. And the contact there has an email address at Tomorrow Entertainment Inc, of Calhoun GA, which likewise has a shell website. So nothing solid behind any of this, just shadows.
