I was so fed up getting punctures that I started using CX Pro Scwalbe tyres on my road bike. Not had any punctures (touch wood) in months and to be honest dont notice too much of a difference from Conti 4 Season jobbies. Are the roads that bad? I would be loathed to change back to road tyres. Am I slower? No doubt. Do I care? Do I flip
Any advice?

Re: CX Tyres On A Road Bike
Swapped my Kendal Kwicker CX tires for some Gatorskin HardShell's as most cycling is of the city commuting type. Despite doing around 2k miles I've only had 2 flats both in fully loaded touring mode 1 on a farm track and the other on a little used country lane with lots of debris on it.
