Looking at these bikes can't decide which one is best , I'm going to be riding the trails in north wales , mostly ,

I've got a Slash 9.8. I love it for the steep gnarl in South Wales. I've had a go on a Top Fuel and found it too race-orientated (too steep, not enough travel) for general trail riding
The Slash is a enduro monster and the Top Fuel is a racing snake. I'm curious why you're looking at bikes at the extreme ends of Trek's full suspension range. If I were you, I'd look the the 2020 Fuel EX. Best of both worlds and they look mint.
