Has any one ordered and received the guide book yet?

I have ordered a copy and emailed them a couple of times and not getting any reply

I was about to ask the same question.
I am used to riding fairly rough tracks and trails.
I would like to know that there are no narrow points less than 1 metre wide.

When did you order it?

The first big batch of preorders were mailed out on Thursday, to begin hitting doormats the day the route launched.

Yes, most recumbent trikes need about a meter width, more important is if the ground is seriously boggy or severely rutted, it's also fairly good if the way is graded level, trikes of any kind don't like the track uneven.
A laid back, low down, layabout recumbent triker!

(Zulu Eleven, can you get your website team to make the OpenStreetMap credit on the map a little bigger, please, so it's actually legible? Thank you!)

thanks - from a very quick look the file for the whole route appears to have a fait bit of text in it, whereas the individual bits are rawer - just points.

I'll use/edit the rawer ones - I like simplicity, and my etrex is pretty simple.

The text is useful stiff like cautions on road crossings and route hints, like where to take options

Does anyone know when this will be added to Openstreetmap, please? Or in other words, is the route operator intending to add it?

I like to keep things simple.
Will rely on my road sense and eyes rather than peering at a screen.

I am thing of doing the KAW or parts of it on my 2002 Galaxy tour next
spring/summer and during a dry spell if possible , the bike has 700*35
tyres and wondering what would be the maximum tyre size for a Galaxy?
does any one know?
Asreading reports on the KAW it more or less states the fatter the tyre the
better

cheers
