What trail gloves?

Post by ratherbeintobago »

Have had several pairs of Giro Xens over the years, like them but the mesh sides to the fingers go after a while.

Looks like Giro may have changed them but in any case they’re not showing up on the UK site.

Any recommended alternatives? Don’t want anything too downhill-y.

Giro gloves are great, but expensive and can be hard to find. My other fave is Endura's Hummvee gloves ~ great all round XC/trail gloves for not too much money. Well made and last well too :-)

Been using Mechanix fast fit for over two years now, they only seem to last me about 3-4 months as I always ride in gloves. They always seem to fail on the fingertips with me so I'm trying sometihing different this time.. I'm 8 weeks in on a pair of o'neal element gloves, not too sure about the verlco close but seem to be holding up well even after a couple of spills while out.

Also tried the mechanix wear impact gloves.. same issue as the fast fit fingers fail at the tips..
3 of this years pairs..
