Kona Kahuna 2011- any thoughts

Hi guys,

Just wondering if any one ridden the above bike (not the more expensive big kahuna).

Was looking at same model last year but the Rock Shox darts put me off. This year they got the Toras which I've been led to believe are bit better.

Anybody taken one out on the trails?

Depends on what you are going to be using it for I guess. Looks good for trail-centre type stuff / caning technical single track down the local woods / etc, but for wilderness-adventure type riding I'd prefer a little less suspension and a little more in the way of rack mounts, and for just gentle trail riding it's probably a bit too full-on.
