Genesis Altitude 20
Genesis Altitude 20
I'm not new to cycling, but to mountain biking. I have the chance of a Genesis Altitude 20 (Reynolds 853 and a mixture of Shimano LX and XT. It's rwo years old, but looks to be immaculate. Asking price is £700 - does that seem fair? Hope someome can advise.

Re: Genesis Altitude 20
I've got a ti Latitude (they changed the name from Altitude this year).
I broke my original ti frame, and Genesis gave me a 853 frame to ride while the 2011 ti frames were unavailable - about 9 months.
The 853 is an excellent bike. It looks like the equivalent bike this year is £1,600.
Bottom line - £700 is a bargain. Buy it!

Actually, he's just dropped his asking price to £600, so it does look a decent buy.
