Do I sell my Specialized Enduro Elite whole, or strip down u

Post by Mad_Hatter »

I have a nice Specialized Enduro Elite, which is either 2006 or 2007 model. It is a great bike, but it has sat in the shed for a couple of years. I am now getting into touring and want to build a Surly Troll for touring and general use.

My question is, am I best using the majority of the parts for the Enduro Elite and fit them to my new Surly Troll, them sell the frame of the EE or should I sell the bike as it is and buy the parts for the Surly Troll? One of the problem is, I have not much idea how much the Enduro Elite is worth now a days.

Any advice would be great.

It's always more profitable to split it for bits than sell it whole. If most will transplant onto the troll, then so much the better.

What level of wear do the parts have coming from a 2006/7 bike? :?
