Yippee! Its the season of the year....

Postby al_yrpal » 15 Oct 2013, 3:17pm

... when the bridleways become quiet because its cold wet and muddy and practically all the MTBers disappear until Easter. Love it! My MTB has been hung on the wall for months, its coming down for its annual service and spruce up. I am off to the woods.

Touring on a bicycle is a great way to explore and appreciate the countryside and towns you pass through. CTC gone but not forgotten!

Been riding on the road for the past 18 months as I had lost my trail mojo, been feeling the urge to get out and muddy recently, I can see some trail time being built into my riding as I love winter rides

I must be an odd man out, I just dont understand the attraction of getting covered in mud. I can just about cope with dirty rain.

So what is the attraction of going on muddy trails.
