Aye. You can always have components flown out of course. How the ever changing rear cassettes square with expedition tours I'd hate to guess. In Bernard Magnouloux book 'Travels With Rosinante' he gets stuck in Tibet and asks everyone he meets for a derailleur and other writers talk about moving rings and sprockets by hand when gears pack up. Simple seems to be best.

hi vernon, i'm not trying to have a go or anything but, my dad always used to call cycling weekly the comic, is that what you mean when you talk about the comic. just so i'm on the right track. thanks dude.
