Ripley Village Hall, Portsmouth Rd, Ripley, Surrey, GU23 6AF. 9am until 1200. £1 entry. Run by the Veteran CC Ripley section. Lots of bikes, parts, accessories and clothing. Loads of stall holders, both inside and out. Vintage, modern and hard to find, in fact anything cycling! Excellent refreshments. This is a very well known cycle jumble and you would be mad to miss all the wonderful bargains! See you there.

Anyone ever been to this?

How is it - worth a trip?

I ask as I have a possible ride on that day and am wondering whether to skip it?

I stress that I'm not one of those (anal?) cyclists looking for a super rare retro bit to make any of my bikes "in period" to the month so that I can show it off in museum mode.

Just looking for decent interesting good value bits for general purpose and touring cycling.

I used to go , especially as it seemed focussed on vintage bikes and parts, often NOS
I’ve ended up with some boxes of great old parts, lamps etc
I fell out of the habit, but not for any bad reasons.
In fact, seeing this makes me want to have another look. Thanks for the post !
