Hi all,

Even after a year this feels like unfinished business. So I'm off for another go at this in a few weeks. Eek. Time to check my wheels ;-)

Cheers.

If I'm honest I just want to get it done in 24 hrs (total time).

Due to transport issues, I had to postpone doing this until September.

The happy side effect was that I got to do Darkmoor again. If you live near by or get the chance to come down for it it is definitely worth it.

I've started indoctrinating my wife to the ways of the velo. Started off with a 45 km charity ride. Think a 24 hour ride might be a bridge too far, but a start has been made.

I know I'm a bit late to the cyclocross party, but had my first race recently

In an attempt to broaden my cycling horizons last weekend I had a go at beach racing at Pembrey Country Park. Loved it, well most of it.

Took my 6 year old son for his first taste of bikepacking/cycle touring. Think he enjoyed it as much as me:

New post about riding Darkmoor, which is similar to the Dun Run but much smaller and hillier.

Hi,
Well done.
The long course is a bit of a copy of one of my training routes, know the tracks well.
I start from Sousons down west of postbridge, warren house inn (all off road), postbridge - bellever off road to- powder mills farm, princetown railway track to yelowmead farm, gt mis tor via little mis tor :? off road, to (railway track) burrator, sheeps tor, elsbarrow nuns cross farm, prince town (off road) then back through belever forrest via bellever tor.
Got to take the sandwhiches and stop half way round :)

Dartmoor boss is going to luv you lot trashing the paths (tracks :) ) they now want to restrict TT's walkers etc etc.

Bit of shameless vote gathering, I've been nominated for the Running Awards Personal Blog. If you have a spare couple of minutes to vote that would be ace. Link is below:

Thank you

Not actually cycling related, but possibly the hardest thing I've ever done not on a bike:
