Try this training plan (if time allows you) .... it is very good:

however, you need to do this using the polarized training technique (in a nutshell, use a heart rate monitor (or powermeter), and try and stay in zone 2 for as much as you can .... i.e. take it easy

Last weekend I ran the North Coast Ultra - 110km from Barnstaple to Minehead. It was without doubt the hardest thing I've ever done to myself. Race report below:

I would try to add some flexibility to your date for doing this. March can have widely different types of weather. Think this year nearly ideal, think 2018 beast from the East. If the weather is going to be really bad change the date.

you need to accustomise yourself to sleep deprivation as much as the cycling.If you can stay awake the miles will come.Make sure your saddle fits well.
