Over on Twitter it's all a bit of a hotch potch
Cycling UK is @CTC_Cyclists they might say keeping their heritage with that one.
It's also as
weareCyclingUK which is @wereCyclingUK ....yes there's no 'a'
So presently @wereCyclingUK retweets @CTC_Cyclists. Hoping they can come up with some tweets of their own. Constantly retweeting others efforts doesn't bode well.

I've also noticed on Twitter, Road CC are building up a few comments on the whole CUK saga.

Methinks it ain't worked out how it was meant to when the mastication of this dogs' dinner was being planned.

Road.cc's report has a load of "comments" and my impression is that it is not going down well in the cycling community. Like you say, "ain't worked out how it was meant to" (but given what's been chosen and how it's been handled is it any surprise ?).

More orders..make sure you get the hashtag right.

CTC Quote: When you use the new marketing hashtag the correct format is #weareCyclingUK not #WeAreCyclingUK ... okay?!

It's all a bit mad and who on earth is going to search for werecyclinguk instead of weareCyclingUK ?
Wouldn't you think any part of a brand would make sure your handle was available first.

Despite the cunning traffic-cone disguise, you still look more like a cat than a wolf, so I'm not sure they'd let you.

Are not "wereCyclingUK - campaigning for the UK's cycling werewolves" inclusive then.....won't get any government grants with that attitude!

Clever stuff..... I see what you did there.
But what has happened to the original @weareCyclingUK owned by someone like Dick J? can't recall exact name. Are you in negotiations for it as it no longer comes up in a search and is still not available.

We are talking to Twitter about it, but we don't hold out much hope (based on previous experience).

This made me smile maybe because I'm relieved it wasn't done with my sub money.
On the 14th of April we are told

The results shown after another day in the office are
"Donuts"
