We'll be riding 17 April, working up some details now. I'll have more details by Tuesday. We'll be meeting at the Angel's Café @0800 on the 17th as it stands.

First ride of the year is a go. I can't say much for the weather as of yet. It's showing rain but it could go either way I reckon. I've got all the usual suspects on the roster, Jon,Dave and Brian.
We're meeting at 0800 on the 17 of April at Angel's Cafe in Mildenhall.
Here's a map of the route but this may change on the day. Hope to see you all there.

Methinks, like your bent legs (and mine  ), Will's video editing skills are out of shape !
And as he had to break off the ride early, there won't be any clips of Dave, Brian or I refuelling at The Udder Room (yes, the "Fully-loaded Brownie" is still available - not that that has anything to do with my motivation for an early morning group ride).

So, who's up for something similar on Sunday 1st May ?

Are there any recumbent riders round the east midlands who would like to get together for a ride.

Hello John and welcome.

Yep i would be up for a ride,i am not too competitive though
Heavy Atomic Zombie Warrior Trike.
and a lighter but twitchy Raptobike.
I am just south of Derby near Castle Donnington.
You far away?
I have travelled to a couple of Will's meets in Cambridgeshire and most enjoyable too :)

Bit more west than east, but I could resurrect the Draycote series
A shortcut has to be a challenge, otherwise it would just be the way. No situation is so dire that panic cannot make it worse.
There are two kinds of people in this world: those can extrapolate from incomplete data.

Thanks
Not too far I'm at Anstey off the A46 in Leicestershire.
I'm not at all competitive, just getting back into riding and new to bent triking so haven't ridden far.
I've got a Mission JT2000 trike.
One idea I had was to go to Mallory park on a wednesday night (6-9pm) for a fiver they let you ride the motor racing circuit. they have other nights for racing and children, but wednesdays are for the touring rider and fun. Not being very fit I thought this would be good for building my stamina etc. I plan to start next week weather permitting. If it's not too far for you, maybe that would be a good place to meet for a first get together.

Hi Davy
Could be tempted to load up the Raptobike if a few more show interest.
Strange that Will has not been about for a while :?
If there is a ride in the offing where would you be starting from and what time?
I have a 2hour+ ride to Mildenhall I would imagine it would be a similar time for an Ely start.
