Can't see 'unread topics', 'new topics' etc

Post by Goosey »

Anyone know where they've gone? When I log in there was always a choice of what to read. I can't see that now :(

If you click on Quick Links in the top left, they are there. I use Active topics all the time, and having it in there is a minor annoyance.

Best not to linger too long on older versions of computer software . . . . . .

The trade-off with using phpBB Forum software is that we get complex, multifunctional, feature-packed software for £0 .
But that means we have to run with the changes

Yup, the new software might have a few minor annoyances for some, but it's much better written than the old version, should be easier to keep maintained, and has a lot of very useful new features.

In various ways the old software was indeed "broke", which is why we now have a more up-to-date and better version to use.

We don't upgrade the Forum very often, so you should have plenty of time to get used to phpBB version 3.1 before version 3.2 comes out.
