I've got Vittoria randonneur pro's on my Dawes Sardar, which I cannot fault for general use.
There's a fundraiser for the bowland Pennine mountain rescue at the end of the month, and it's a mixed terrain event.
I've got MTB tyres ( on my MTB) but can anyone recommend a fast rolling tyre for mixed trails? ( I cannot bring myself to say gravel riding!)
I'd rather ride the sardar than my MTB, and the tyres will do for summer trail riding.

Re: Rough stuff tyres, 26"
Schwalbe Marathon Mondials are decent on most surfaces except sloppy mud.
Re: Rough stuff tyres, 26"
Schwalbe Landcruisers, quick on tarmac open enough not to clog in mud. They're a budget grade Schwalbe tyre but don't let that put you off, they'll beat the pants off Mondials on the road and off but will wear out in half the time.
I found Tour Rides gave a stodgy ride and punctured easily.

^^^ WHS. Landcruisers for me, 26 x 1.75 IIRC. Do roll very well, with the additional security of slime tubes.

I'm a fan of Schwalbe Marathon Cross tyres, 26 x 1.75, which roll well and work offroad too.
