Lejog Strava
Sbcoombs cycleruk John100 and oldman on a bike all showed well on the leaderboard last week with Sbcoombs at the top.
It must be said that my altitude is a bit suspect, on Sunday's groupride I was 300 ft higher than anyone else

I will be attending the Durham ride. However the campsite doesn't accept dogs so we've booked at Barnard Castle, ill either cycle to your site or my wife will drive me.

I am changing the Durham ride to the Barnard Castle camping and Caravan club site.
The route will now start and end from there and I will post it in the next couple of days

Wimps Strava
Cycleruk Softlips oldmanonabike and Sbcoombs dominated the leaderboard last week.
I am not riding this week due to a strained leg muscle

Only a few rides this week, 50 miles tow path ride followed by my second BMX evening, off to the Forest of Dean later for a few circuits at the wonderful trail centre. It's Titanium racey beastie time......

Did you know that Hamsterley forest has a a number of rides. It seems that mountain bike riders risk life and limb going up and down them

I was hoping to post an alternative wimps Durham ride. We rode the original last weekend and all was well until we were on the exposed moorland between Teasdale and Weardale when the headwind made it very hard to ride. We have a couple of alternatives in mind but I won't post a route until we have ridden them

Hamsterley does have some good bits but also a lot of fire trail if following the official red trail.
The latter part is possibly the best of any UK trail centre.

SPA blown over in the wind in Cornwall .... now has a very fetching dent in it's top tube

Coast road to Hayle in the morning then back through Connor Downs and the biggest climb of the first day between Connor Downs and Camborne.
