Near Lartington DL12 9DG 01833630228
If cycling group is mentioned on booking they will try and group us all together
Please let me know what time you are arriving so I can try and book a pub for evening meal.
Also there are two camping sites on the road to Lartington the first is caravan and motorhome and is on the roadside we want the second one also on the left but half a mile up a clearly marked narrow road

Safari room is a standard wind out Fiamma awning and sides are from

I have the front to go with them. Great to give some privacy but only take minutes to put up or down.

Hope to arrive mid / late afternoon. Happy to join everyone for meal but we will have two small (well behaved) dogs with us. If they're welcome (they always have been) we'll be there.

Spitfire winston Bridge
Wimps who are doing the Durham ride will cross the Winston road Bridge, partway across there is a model of a spitfire on the bridge wall.
There is a video clip of a Spitfire being flown under the bridge on utube. If you are interested google Spitfire Winston Bridge

A Damp Day in Durhamshire.
But it didn't dampen the spirits.
Good company. Good route. Good views sometimes.
How about the guy we caught up with who had done E2E accidentally. :?
He had been on the road since April and had cycled all round the coast, Scottish Islands, Ireland & Iceland etc. Pity we didn't get a photo.

So where for the next one .... the "Winter Wimp" .... The "Cheshire Plain" or maybe the Fylde ... ?

December ... Nearest weekend to the Winter Solstice ... ?
