lovely weekend, even though it didn't involve cycling.

Yesterday, I took the kids up into the forest for a social outing with Mini V's school band. We cooked over a fire, the kids played in the forest, and the parents chatted. Everyone came back happy and slightly muddy.

..bellyful of European Cities. Just returned from a rail tour of Berlin, Prague, Vienna and Budapest and decided I am no longer a City person. Too crowded, too frantic, grey and boring. Give me a nice view, the sounds of nature and fresh air in the countryside. Why did I go - because they were places I felt I had to go to to see what they were like. The least worse one was Vienna. Made me appreciate London.

A good cup of coffee this morning
Came away in caravan and forgot to pack a coffee making appliance. Bought a Moka pot , in town, for only 6:99. Fifth Morning of trial and error I think I've cracked it! :D
