I got this in a cycle jumble it is a 27mm post with a way of clamping I have not before come across. The rail clamps and the tilting clamp work independently of each other. Any ideas of the make?

Re: Identify this seatpost
it is (as I think it says on the side) a 'Fred Salmon Racing' seat pin. They were popular in the MTB world some years ago. Check out retrobike and past e-bay sales, to the right person, it might be worth more than you paid for it.

Thanks for that. I couldn't quite make out the name and the combinations of letters I tried didn't yield any suggestions.
I paid £5 for it and will use it on my Mercian after a winter refurb.
