Just been phoned by the caravan site in Shrewsbury, informing me that those already on site can't get out.
Now 12" in Sennybridge and still snowing.
Will give tomorrow a miss and see what Tuesday is like, though overnight Monday supposed to be down to minus 12 so not looking too promising.

My mercury barometer has been up and down recently in an erratic way which usually means more precipitation and if it stayed cold, that would obviously mean snow.

Good couple of inches here in South Oxfordshire. Kids are building snowmen. Toboggans being pulled up the road. Cleared my paths its a bit slushy now. Glad I put our Christmas Lights up yesterday.. The fires flickering away and its nice and cosy.

Reuse, recycle, thus do your bit to save the planet.... Get stuff at auctions, Dump, Charity Shops, Facebook Marketplace, Ebay, Car Boots. Choose an Old House, and a Banger ..... And cycle as often as you can......

No sooner had I posted than it started snowing quite hard. The colour of the sky suggests there may be quite a bit up there.

It rained a bit this afternoon. Good job we brought the washing in.

To be absolutely frank, we are jealous. Some snow would be nice.

When I went out this morning around 9:30 (in the car), we'd had about 1.5" of snow up on the hill here, a lot less down below (250ft or so). There was a lot less everywhere when I came back around 1pm.

Mrs H took this photo while out for a walk.

Thankfully after some snow flurries here in Eastbourne it's turned to rain.Just as well as recently signs have been erected telling visitors we are the " sunshine coast ".
