ribble mudguards

I popped into Ribble Cycles shop in Birmingham today. I saw some nice looking mudguards on a lot of the bikes. They were very neat and, if not too expensive, I thought I might get some after Christmas. I asked the shop assistant if they sold them separately, He said they did but couldn't find them in their catalogue. I was unable to access their website tonight so wondered…. Has anyone any knowledge of the mudguards, make, accessibility, cost?
I'd appreciate any comments - also any recommendations for 23c/25c tyres that are robust, and cheap. And Merry Christmas to all on this forum.

Tortec - have some on my daily bike and so far I've failed to destroy them in 3 years - a record for me!

Go for Tortec or SKS* - the biggest issue with mudguards that I have to fit in the shop is the lack of clearance that requires either mudguards with special clips to pass through the fork crown and rear bridge or resorting to raceblades or similar which don`t stop much spray.

* the Bluemels models from SKS are just as good as original SKS and quite a bit cheaper.
