I wrote a booklet entitled "Cars I have Known" about all the cars we had as a child, and all the cars I've owned and driven as an adult.
I also wrote another entitled "My Incredible Career" about my time in the Royal Navy 1969 to 1996.

Nowt about cycling other than a few blogs.
JOGLE
LEJOG and Back
Grand Tour of Scotland, England and Wales
JOGLE on a Raleigh Chopper.

Will that do?

Hey Mick,

Sounds to me like you need to write that autobiography stat! Thanks for replying. I can't include your booklets because thy're not to do with cycling, and your blogs can't be bought as a gift. Ta though, and please do get writing!

My Blogspot account has been hacked ............... I think.
I can't log in, and when I try to retrieve my password etc, they want to text me on a number that isn't mine. I know the password and login info, but it doesn't work.

I wanted to download them and rearrange them into chronological order rather than back to front like a normal blog. I could then re-publish them. I got as far as http://chopperstory.blogspot.co.uk before I was frozen out.

It now seems that my account has been closed.

All very annoying, and I've now leaned NOT to have a blog that can be mine for all time. Best way ........ if I want to do this sort of thing again ........... is to have a proper website and NOT a Blogspot.

Have you tried the waybackwhen machine?

Slightly laborious but if the blogs are still online (or cached) it wouldn't be impracticable to copy and paste the text and reinsert the photos. I'm slightly surprised that you don't have these all meticulously archived.

I'm slightly embarrassed.

Cycle Mag wanted to do an article about my JOGLE on the Chopper and wanted high resolution photographs. I don't have the originals, or the original movies from my Sony Handycam. They were all reduced to get them onto the blog. I took my MacBook with me and did it each evening using WiFi.

The actual JOGLE Chopper blog was done during the ride, and I did it all without thinking for the future. What's there on the blog, is all there is. The others were done from copious notes I took. The photos though, were reduced and I never kept the originals ......... though I still have all my original notes.
