Hi,

Just a bit of feedback as I received good advice here.

Today I got a bike workstand from Lidl for £24.99

I put it together and had the Carrera MTB up on it very easily inside 10 minutes.

I am very happy with it.

Thanks again,
Cuttlefish.

Recommendation for a Bike Stand.

Post by BackOfTheNet »

Hello everyone,

I'm looking to purchase a bike stand for my bike to carry out maintenance/cleaning, etc.

I don't need anything fancy as I'm just starting out on my cycling adventure.

Looking to spend up to £150.

Which ones would the good people of this forum recommend?

Thanks.

As above. With one exception I've been very impressed by tools from Aldi and Lidl.

For something better I recommend the one that the Edinburgh Bicycle Cooperative used to sell branded as "Revolution".

I have a Park tool PCS-10 bike stand but I wouldn't recommend it. It is heavy, cumbersome and the bike is prone to swivelling around when I am working on it. It was also expensive, about £110 15 years ago, and I suspect that you can get a better one for less money.

As above I have one from Aldi, had it for 9 - 10 years does the job.

Cheers everyone!

Looks like its highly sought after and hard to come by!

I'll pop into my local Lidl today and keep my fingers crossed.

Apart from Lidl/Aldi, any others?
