Bottle cage adaptor to move cage up?

Post by Tangled Metal »

Anyone know of such a product? I'm thinking if a bar which you bolt onto bottle bosses then you bolt the cage onto a the bar using a second set of holes further up.

I've seen one before but can't remember what it was called or who sold it.

I need to raise a bottle cage on my recumbent boom to allow use of a mount for front lights. A few centimetres and I can fit something like a minoura space grip or the Topeak equivalent onto the derailleur stub behind the bottle cage.

Yes but that's a really ugly piece of kit. I'm sure the one I saw looked better. I've got this idea it was a monkii cage made one and looked cleaner too.

There is a nice one made by an Australian Company - Mount Skidmore. Well made and works well. £14 for 2 delivered to the UK in 2016. Gives a choice of bottle cage positions.
