Please excuse my fumblings I am new to this, my question, is there such a thing as walking pads for Shimano shoes, like the giro shoes that are available and turn cleat shoes to normal urban shoes. Any help would be appreciated

you are talking about SPD-SL type cleats? If so, yes indeed; if you type in 'SPD-SL cleat covers' into a search engine you should find several. Cost about £10

Or are you looking for something to fill in the recess of ordinary (MTB style cleat) SPD shoes. Such as these?

These were actually fitted to my Shimano shoes when I bought them, just had to remove them to fit the cleats (They don't fit over the cleats, they just teplace them)

And are 'cleat covers' available for EXUSTAR? One of mine went AWOL mid-ride.
