Dodgy Inner Tube

Is this tube ok to use only got a few psi and a big bulge appeared, tube is brand new.

IME, if you inflate a tube not inside a tyre, it will swell in one place like that. I don't know if it always happens because I don't often try but AFAIK, it's not unusual and not a problem

Latex tubes do that too. Don't worry about it.

Blow it up some more - it may form an interesting shape or even a rude one!

Don't try this at home. Butyl tubes have fairly limited elasticity. I've seen a picture - perhaps in the CTC mag a few years ago - of a group of people in a circle holding a latex tube which had been inflated to an enormous size.

Or you could do as I have done and close your eyes and keep pumping.
Lots of tubes do that although I must admit that it seems as if cheapy ones do it more. Quality maybe?

Schwalbe innertube £6.00 that is why i was a bit surprised.
