ICE Trike perceived weights ?
Folk rattle on about Trike weights
With so many choices and options can you rely on the stated weight .
Or should it look light by the shape or colour
So I would like to start a fun challenge with a surprising answer in store
The lucky winner will win six chocolate cream eggs
So here we go .......
Ice Adventure or Ice Sprint with identical specs groupset and options to allow a fair comparison
QUESTION :- Which is the lightest ,,,,,,is it the Adventure or Sprint

Re: ICE Trike perceived weights ?
The adventure frame sits slightly higher, and so may have less material (the upsweep of the crossbar).
I can't recall offhand what the rear end difference is between them...
I'd therefore hazard a guess (partly because you asked the question) that the adventure may well be slightly lighter.

A shortcut has to be a challenge, otherwise it would just be the way. No situation is so dire that panic cannot make it worse.

Both weigh exactly the same
Entertainer, juvenile, curmudgeon, PoB, 30120
Cycling-of course, but it is far better on a Gillott

Just what I was going to say, but the Sprint will go faster because it's red.
Re: ICE Trike perceived weights ?
Looking at the photos a bit more closely...
I suspect the rear ends are actually shared (both the CFT and the rear fork) and the boom is shared.
The only differences are therefore in the cruciform and seat mounting...
The adventure has an additional support at the rear to raise the rear of the seat, the sprint has a more curvaceous cruciform.
Although the sprint is available 'from' 300g lighter than the adventure (2%, or 0.3% if I sit on them...)

The color of an object does not affect how fast it is going. it only affects how fast you see it.

Two bikes might weigh the same but if one were easier to handle it's *percieved* weight would be less

Redshift... it’s a well known phenomenon.

Just to clarify, I meant the hight of you above the ground. Not if you've had a smoke before riding...

Hmm ……….Only if you can answer this starter question ????
What is the rolling resistance of modern "Wagon Wheels" compared to the earlier and larger "Wagon Wheels "
