Using shimano 105 set, looking for LOWER gears set!

Hey guys, Ive been using shimano 105 set which is great for communiting, but not so great to race IMO

The last gear (11th?) is way to small for me, I need to go heavier 100% sure.

What set or what can I do to get heavier gears than shimano 105 set?

Don't think you can go lower than 11 tooth. Maybe put a bigger front chain ring on.

"Lower" gears are for climbing hills easier
By "heavier" I presume you mean "higher" gears so that you can go faster ?
Initially just consider fitting a larger big chain ring. This will entail lifting the front dérailleur to suit.
A cassette with the smallest sprocket available would also help.

I think that if you were using your 11T properly, you would be doing well over 30mph. You may find that if you do a bit more riding your cadence may improve, if it is a bit low at present.

Hey thanks, yes I see myself "sprinting" on my 11th gear, I know FOR SURE I could go a LOT faster if I had heavier gears.. (which is what Im trying to find)

Before starting another thread on how you "know for sure" you can go faster why not return to your original thread and maybe answer the questions there?
You seem to do a bit of bragging about "knowing" you can go faster but so far have offered nothing in terms of proof or answers!
Or maybe you'll leave this thread and start another......

You can't get smaller than 11 teeth on the cassette on a road bike cassette. You can fit a larger chainring. Most bike come with a 50, 52 or 53 large chainring, you can get ones that go up to 60 teeth or more, which will give you a heavier gear.

But do you need it. Mark Cavendish can do 40+ mph using 53x11. Can you match that? If not, then you need to learn to pedal faster. If you can match it, then perhaps you need to get in touch with British Cycling or Team Sky.
