Hello, Im looking at getting a new road bike priced roughly between £1200-£1500.
I was wondering if there were any suggestions, recommendations or even bits of advice?
All feedback welcome
Thanks very much.
New bike, £1200-£1500

Think you will need to provide more information - on the kind of cycling you intend doing, with reference to terrain and mileage. The more information you supply, the more relevant will be the advice.
Re: New bike, £1200-£1500
Normal tarmac roads will be where Im riding.
Millage will be around 20 miles per day on weekdays and weekend longer rides.
A mixture of commuting and group riding.
I will likely just use this new bike for good dry weather as i have one better suited to winter weather.
Thanks

The World's your Lobster then, I'd say. You could go with an out-and-out road bike for those mileages and usage. Frame material of your choice, from carbon, steel, or Aluminium
Personally, I'd be looking at the 'sprightly but comfy' end of the spectrum.

Thank you for those suggestions.
One thing i should have mentioned i am looking for rim brakes not disk.
Almost all bikes have both options so not a huge deal.

This one looks like a good VFM, standard road bike to me: https://bike-uk.co.uk/products/focus-cayo-105-2017

The sales are about to start. Many emporiums will have up to 50% off last years model (indistinguishable from this years model bar a different paint job and the latest gear changer, functioning just the same at the previous changer).
You're a bit naïve to ask such a question in cyberspace. How could any of us possibly know via a few bits of text what might suit you and what might not? Also, we'll mostly just tell you what we like.
