Recommendation for courier for trike

Hi any recommendations for a long distance courier for a trike...both from and to locations in the UK.

I'm a trendy consumer. Just look at my SM-N950F using hovercraft full of eels.

Are you thinking something like getting to and from LEJoG ??

The easiest is some form of WVM.
If you can fold it so it fits on a pallet then you can post it via a courier.
If it folds then you even bag it so it becomes oversize luggage on a train with you.

It all really depends on how far and how often you want to transport it.

Thanks Tigerbiten I can see now my original post was unclear.

It is to arrange collection from the seller and delivery to me of a Trike I might purchase which is a couple if hundred miles from me.

Is this your first trike? Might you be able to meet part way and cycle it from there (possibly the trike owner has a vehicle that could carry it). WVM is probably the simplest as it involves the least deconstruction and repair.

Not my first trike although I am new to trikes. Unfortunately this one is just too far.

Looks like you can get a van and driver from them.
That's probably the quickest/easiest way if you cannot drive a hire van.
That way the trike will fit in the back of a van unfolded given rough dimensions 2m long by 1m wide by 1m high.
If it folds then it will be roughly half that length, so a smaller van could be used.

For pallet delivery, then something like -> https://www.nationalpallets.co.uk/
It will probably fit a half oversize pallet unfolded.
It may fit a half pallet folded.
Just strap it to one and cling film it .......

Hampshire but the trike is in scotland....probably not cost effective but thanks for responding

Not my first but I am new to trikes. Probably just too far in this case. But thanks for the advice.

When I bought my first trike, it was in London and I was in the north of Scotland: I phoned round some of the local removal companies and found one that was doing an empty return trip that would only take them slightly out of their way to pick it up. Perhaps not the cheapest option, but the plus factor was the trike didn’t need to be dismantled or packaged in any way. There was no transfers during the journey as might happen with a larger courier firm. And the removals company was happy as an otherwise empty van was earning extra cash!

Another option might be a motorcycle courier (the kind that move motorcycles around, not a guy on a big motorbike!).
