GCSE Project Survey
GCSE Project Survey
Hi all,
For my DT this academic year I have decided to focus on cycling. Currently, I am thinking of designing a product around holding small items needed whilst cycling e.g. water bottle, first aid kit, phone, small repair kit etc. I have not fully decided on a specific product so anything is open. I would appreciate it anyone could answer my short survey, it would help me alot. I hope to create a piece of work (and maybe even a product) that I am proud of.

Many thanks for any feedback and for helping me!

Re: GCSE Project Survey
The product you're thinking of that carries the items you listed already exists. It's called a saddlebag.
Re: GCSE Project Survey
Done!
I already carry my kit in a saddlebag or on the frame of the bike.
However, you do see some cyclists who want to travel as light as possible (who rely on others to be carrying the spares!!!) so, for these people, whatever you are come up with would need to be as light and compact as possible.

Is there any disadvantages of Saddlebags that you/others have experienced?
Re: GCSE Project Survey
I really appreciate all the responses and feedback everyone has posted. I have completed the task relating to the survey (not the whole product) but will leave it open for any other helpful comments or advice.
Thanks you again!
