Park Tool PCS 10 repair stand

Just a brief review to say that I rather rate this repair stand. I already have the PRS 20, but I’m finding myself using the PCS 10 much more often than the other. If you can do even the most basic bike repair it is easily assembled. I like to tilt the on the stand work at a convenient height.

£99.99 is cheaper than I’ve seen second hand ones going for...

Have to agree it's pretty good - although I sold mine when I stumbled on a full-blown pro-stand from Park (the one with the massive steel base) for £75 (it had come, almost unused, from a defunct Toys R Us store via a "stock buyer")

... and I have the Park TS-25 wheel-truing attachment that fits the PCS 10 or PCS-9 if anyone is interested - clamps to the main tube and makes a reasonable job of truing. Yours for £15 + postage (RRP is about £30) .... I have subsequently acquired a s/h Park pro truing stand

Yes, it's funny that some reviewers recommend the PCS 10 saying it's ideal for leaving set up in one place because it's not very portable. I can see why you would want a more solid work stand for a permanent set up in a shop, say, as the PCS 10 does have a bit of play in it. However, for me I do like the (relative) portability of this particular model - it folds up and goes in to a corner of the downstairs lavatory
