Induction Cordless Kettle.
Hi,
Not even sure then do an induction contactless one?
Buy kettle cheap brand old one is buckling so drips.
Get home open box no base with lead just kettle, cordless of course
Email Tesco, they are confused as me as the box looks untampered with sealed up tight.
Need a loaf so trundle off to swap kettle, I need little boys room so send er off with box
Still has old box.
I suppose I was lucky that I did not present box, we go home with original box.
If I had the I'd blame the B£"&*t effect
Kettle works fine.

Re: Induction Cordless Kettle.
Just clarifying - an induction kettle is for use on an induction hob ?
So would be cordless anyway.
Can it be used on ordinary electric / gas hobs as well ?

You'll never know if you don't try it.

More of a deduction kettle, which game I have failed

You've obviously missed the most recent edict from the EU Department of Small Domestic Appliances. It is really pretty clear. It states:
"All attempts at making a post-Brexit UK work at any level must be thwarted at every turn."

Well, clearly this is a No Deal kettle, manufactured in anticipation of the Great Day....
No! Excuse me, I got the word mixed up, this comes of doing too many anagrams in crosswords....
What I meant to say is, clearly this is a No-Lead kettle....

Re: Induction Cordless Kettle.
We had a Dualit electric kettle for a quite number of years, and then one day, it stopped working.
I went online to see the prices of them, thinking about a replacement.
One like this:
https://www.dualit.com/products/lite-jug-kettles
£80 for a kettle.
We were in Morrisons, and they had electric kettles at £7.15 each.
We could have bought ten of them for the price of one Dualit .......................... but we only bought one.
Now't wrong with having a cheap seven quid lecky kettle.

You could go for a [inappropriate word removed]. Not cheap at £320, but you get a bit of "adult" humour thrown in.

I think the swearword filter wants looking into. The brand that TC obviously referred to is perfectly familiar to all.

And furthermore, we bought a perfectly serviceable kettle from Argos a few months ago. Retail price £12.99. No problems.

Should have gone to Morrisons, home of the cut-price kettle, we note.

I'll hear nothing bad said against the filter, it takes its job very seriously and has no humour.
I think it used to be a border guard.

Surely they've not been allowed to sell kettles made of lead for a very long time?

Hi,
Sorry I did not post earlier.
I took home the same box of kettle we was took to return.
When I returned from said room er still had the old box, nothing removed or added but the kettle now works (£7.50).
I now remember buying same cheap kettle and the base with lead in stored in the £$"&^% inside of the kettle
I must be cracking up.
Have a good one
