Air Bag System for Cyclists - CES19

Post by Barks »

See this link for a demonstration of an inflatable vest for cyclists in event of fall or of a collision - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/technolog ... r-cyclists

I think I had seen something similar to wear around your neck which inflated around your head?

Wow, so now we have to wear a vest powered by explosives! Queue the sniffer dog chases.

If it's necessary, cover the cars with it. Don't punish the victims.

I liked the tester calmly opening a flap to let it cool down after the reporter questioned the burning smell. Best hope you don't get knocked out, else you may trade bruising for burns. :-(
