New look Cycling UK clothing ... coming soon.

Post by gaz »

15 months after the launch of the current new kit, it's time to design some new kit :? .

https://www.cyclinguk.org/new-year-new-kit

I wonder if there will be a new heritage range?

Voting has opened.

It seems that Labrat's design did not make the final cut  .

I rather like the sunbeam version, though I'm not sure that Weaver valley CC don't already have copyright.

The only meaningful vote is buying it, and whatever the intention in the above post, Labrat has illustrated something a lot of people would buy.

The Japanese got there first. (That's assuming Weaver Valley CC doesn't pre-date the Edo dynasty.)

I wouldn't wear any of the We are Godfrey Bikewear kit, it's more prominent than Cycling UK and spoils all the designs IMO.

I try to keep up with the latest trendy kit.

I have a couple of pairs of these shorts - of cutting-edge design . . . and the last ones I purchased. ( circa 2000-ish )
PS. A nice thin pad within.

Labrat's design looks best to me.

I prefer the existing design to any of the new ones but that isn't an option in the vote. :?

What, really? Seriously? This one?

Yup that one :D I prefer it to the 4 options for its replacement.

Not sure I would get any of them though I've already bought enough in recent times - including Chester CTC & Chester and North Wales CTC.

(I did escape having to get a Chester Fabulous Ladies one even though I'm an honorary member, as I often pilot tandem on their rides. It does make for a good line if folk ask me what I did at the weekend - "I went to Chester to be a fabulous lady" I reply  )
