I tried my Garmin with cycling gloves (that have a "special" finger or 2 bit not a "special" thumb) and they were useless.

Mine are Shimano, perhaps your gloves are Campagnolo?

Normal gloves work with Garmins, you don't need special ones.
Mobile phones OTOH do need them as they have a different screen system.

When will you next buy a mobile phone?

well I bought my first 2nd hand Lumia 635 then a Lumia 640 each for less than £20 a few months a go. Liked them so much bought a few more to last me out , (all setup the same) with some spare batterys, ( i'll keep in the fridge ). So the asnwer is not until I reincarnate.

It depends on how soon this one goes in the washing machine.

I've washed - and ruined - two so far. Samsung Galaxy and iPhone5c, both secondhand
My present secondhand iPhone5c will hopefully be third time lucky.

a podcast took 3 seconds on 5G ( measured as 5 tiimes faster but in pracitce only 3 and a bit) and 10 on 4G.

hopefully it leave the 4G channels free and less congested as the I gotta have it crowd move on

One billion Android devices at risk of hacking

More than a billion Android devices are at risk of being hacked because they are no longer protected by security updates, watchdog Which? has suggested.

The vulnerability could leave users around the world exposed to the danger of data theft, ransom demands and other malware attacks.

Anyone using an Android phone released in 2012 or earlier should be especially concerned, it said.

I think you can also use the mouse to click the icons and thus contrl the phone - I can do that on my windows phone

better than squinting at the small screen when at home?

I can also do that on my windows phone.

The small apps on a phone some times better than having to open up a browser?
