Currently listening to .......
Re: Currently listening to .......
Online only I believe.
Not actually checked if it can received any other way, but when we were told about it, we were told it was online radio.
PS:
Scrolling down their website, it does say DAB, but no info about it. Not tried it on DAB. Got one in the car and one in the workshop, so I must have a play to see if I can find it.

Minstrel in the Gallery by Jethro Tull. A superb album, a masterpiece of the prog genre.

Re: Currently listening to .......
I bought my self a new dab/dab+/fm portable/mains Sony radio. My old one was just FM and had a dreadful analogue tuning dial that drifted and had to be carressed to tune it, the movemnt needed was so small. So now all I do is push a button and its tuned. LBC I have found useful, even Farage sounds a bit sane on his show ( god help me)

Frances Day, a real goddess of the 1930's! Great stage musical artiste, a genuine sex pot?
Some odd songs, one is "An Englishman spoke in Grosvenor Square, sung to the tune of "A Nightingale sang in Berkley Square".
Dueted with Al Bowelly, John Mills and with Bud Flanagan.
One day she turned up at the theatre very much the worse for wear, causing Flanagan to say "Little Day has had a busy man"! Work that one out.
A real character who walked away from stardom into self imposed obscurity. No one knew where she was, even EMI who had loads of Royalty cash for her? When she died she left over £160'000 to a solicitor who had an office in her house. He never knew who she was? MM

Wednesday Week:The Undertones
Because it's...

I saw them at the National Club Kilburn 1982 , a great gig after a day spent watching
Pakistan beat England in the test match at Lords, a grand day out for a second generation Jock.
At one point in proceedings bad light temporarily stopped play, and as the players trooped off a female Pakistan supporter stood up and shouted something along the lines of ''come back you cowardly curs, I didn't fly 5000 miles for you to stop playing just because the sun's gone in ''. Classic, it was the phrase 'cowardly curs' that got me laughing, old school !
It was the only indoor gig that I've ever taken my shirt off at, over refreshed and over excited no doubt...
There's a framed review of the gig here which you can read by mousing over it if remotely interested,
great quote above Feargal's picture, ''Greater than Mario Lanza--Official''.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Undertones-Nat ... B01IWS19LK
I'm stoutly resisting the urge to buy this for £30, so far....
England had the last laugh in the cricket though, and won the series 2-1.

Bob Dylan : Mr Tambourine Man, a live 10 minute version from a Sheffield concert in 1966 with two hypnotic harmonica breaks at 4 minutes 50seconds and 8 minutes 30seconds. Fantastic, especially using a neck rack.
