Most stories I know only have a handful of characters, but a couple have seven (dwarves/trolls?), and the story where the Wolf devoured six little kids, the mother goat slit open his stomach while he slept, recovered the six little favourites and put some stones in their place
Then there is the story of three horses, two were beautiful but only the crippled horse has magical powers

Please, who are the ugliest and beautifulest candidates?

Mosley spent a longer time as a Labour MP then a Conservative one; though his political affiliations can only be described as chequered. Or probably, more accurately, opportunist.

After recent polls, EU Parliament elections and the by election I'm wondering why there's not more talk about the LibDems leadership contest. Afterall they're on the rise as one of the few parties that has actually got a policy on Brexit namely remain!

Of course more fun talking about one nation tories. astonishing is that anyway? Are they planning independence for England or something?

So shall we summarise the candidates, please add to the list as appropriate.

Boris - highly organised campaign that's sucking up to tories despite not having announced his candidacy. Taken drugs (allegedly I think), cheated on wife/wives (not to be trusted) and is a buffoon likely to embarrass himself and the office should he get it.

Gove - very intelligent media preformer, nobody really likes him and he's admitted drug use 20 years ago (anyone believe that timescale?) and was the front runner after Boris but had a better chance because nobody campaigning against him.

Jeremy Hunt - Amber Rudd supports him. Media performer, had leading cabinet positions, inoffensive candidate and jeez I couldn't vote for him and I'm almost a vote for a dustbin with a blue rosette (not actually true since I've voted Labour and LibDems too).

That former soldier guy with the almost schoolboy face who's name I can't remember - I think that explains my view of his chances.

Dominic Raab - Brexit supporter who's right wing mad! Scary that for a staunch supporters of brexit he's not supported by Jacob rhees smogg.

I can't really remember anyone else so guess they've got no chance.

Anyone want to add to my comments or change them as appropriate? Could be good fun.

After this, a thread on the LibDems leadership contest might be helpful. Probably more LibDem supporters on here than tory ones afterall. :D

Excellent coffee from their. Good news on that. Plus Bogota is cycling friendly. Main road through city gets shut down Sundays for cyclists only. That's been going on for a decade now I believe and is to be commended.

A good country really but everyone brings up the drug side. Since the various peace deals with various terrorist groups things will get better over there. Unless the great socialist state of Venezuela gets sorted Colombia will probably struggle with the refugees of socialism.

PS good you spelt the country right. It's classic Grauniad style to spell out Columbia. :D

Boris snorted but he didn't exhale!

Twist of the classic cannabis politician's line of not inhaling.

News today was that Boris has learnt from 2016 campaign. His staffers are keeping him away from media. Apparently his campaign is turning out to be highly organised. Very professional and smacks of Lynton's hand controlling things. Certainly more professional than Gove's campaign out seems and he's not even announced yet!

New trade deal with South Korea. First one to be signed. Basically it puts us in a position to trade as more with South Korea if there is a hard Brexit. Only such deal too.

Was that over Hunt's watch? Can't be a bad little fillip to his credibility. Especially since Amber Rudd has finally announced her support for him. Apparently she was the name most candidates courted for support. A king maker???

Nobody does, including Tories. What he is is their route to power.
