Donald Trump has branded the Duchess of Sussex as “nasty” after hearing she made critical comments about him during his 2016 election campaign.

Is it too late to withdraw the invite.

(That said I am in some regards a bit hypocritical as I strongly disagree with our system of "royalty". Some I would brand as nasty people (or maybe just too stupid to know better), but then they have not invited me to a 3 day ego boost (which I'd turn down anyway).

Alas, the paper didn't see fit to publish the rest of Trump's words from that particular conversation where he went on to praise her and describe her as a "good princess". And to think Murdoch's rags get a bad rap

I had a quick search around and could not find more of Trump's comments. Could you provide a link for me?

More gross insults against Sadiq. I think that to call this drumpf-creature merely "mad" is giving him an excuse, a let-off, he doesn't deserve.

Don't others think, to exploit the tragic deaths by stabbing of three young men, is crossing a line?

And to re-tweet a post by the egregious Hopkins which contains the word "Londonistan" - a racist term if ever there was one!

This is hate, hate, and yet more hate, undiluted. No getting away from it. Where will it end?

He's re-written the rules, it's the new norm. Best ignored now, I think.

Quite. Either Trump does not realise he is publicising extremist language which is grossly offensive to many Londoners, in which case he is ill-advised and reckless, or he is aware of the implications of the term and is signalling approval of them.

I am sorely tempted to approach the next American tourist I notice here and ask "What is this city called?"

There is also hypocrisy.

The number of knife deaths is still about the same as that when Boris Johnson was Mayor - yet that passes over Trump'shead... same problem, same responsibilities, yet one is unfit to be MAyor, the other is fit to be Prime Minister?

THen we have another interesting thought

US Mass Shootings in the US so far in 2019)

!48 Mass shootings, 149 dead and 8 injured.... and that is only the mass shootings, there have (depends upon source) been over 550 people killed by guns in the US this year so far

What does that say about the incumbent US President

To paraphrase Trump himself and apply his own criteria

AMERICA needs a new President ASAP. Trump is a disaster - will only get worse!

He's rattled, the giant blimp has annoyed him.
Plus slagging off other countries moves the spotlight from his own problems whilst appealing to the nationalism he's been stoking amongst his fellow countrymen.

Turns out wherever you look, 50% of people are more stupid than average.

Ignore this madman at your peril, and similarly BoJo.
They're peas in a pod who'll stoke up as much trouble as they can to expand their already overinflated egos.

We can hardly ignore the most powerful man on the planet or our soon to be PM
The sooner power is wrested from their sweaty grasp the better IMHO.

Nope: 50% of people are more stupid than the median. Be precise!

Anyway, Trump wouldn't figure in the analysis - not if you apply sigma clipping....

Nah, you're harder to ignore - you make the odd sensible intervention (I simply do the odd :D ), unlike them.
