Turbo Trainer for person with poor balance

Post by PennylessWheeler »

Could you please recommend a specific turbo trainer for a experienced rider who has developed balance problems?

I don't think it's the particular turbo trainer that's the issue rather it's the getting on and off the bike that's the issue.

I'm guessing that they want to stay riding thier own bike rather than go over to an exercise bike?

My dad who had a stroke 2 years ago has a couple of concrete blocks as a step to allow him to mount and dismount without injury.

As someone who had one for that exact reason...

What balance issues? Prognosis?
A shortcut has to be a challenge, otherwise it would just be the way. No situation is so dire that panic cannot make it worse.
There are two kinds of people in this world: those can extrapolate from incomplete data.
