One of my happiest memories was cycling through Tuscany a few years ago as the sun rose and had a Golden Oriole fly down the road infront of me for about 50 yards. Made me happy all day
There is a Wren sings outside my window in the morning and evening
Seeing my first hoopoe
Hearing a cuckoo
Hearing the House Martin's that nest outside my bedroom window
Watching a Mother Duck walking up my path with her ducklings in tow, and then her letting me feed them
Seeing two barn owls tonight in the field behind my house
Birds make me disproportionately happy

Plus 1 for the Hoopoe,Cuckoo and th Barn Owl,never seen a Golden Oriole, though Bee-eaters can be quite stunning the first time seen or anytime thereafter
