This website has come to my attention, it may be of use for organiser of rides.

https://whatpub.com/

it has no connection with any other site.

I have no financial or cultural interested in this website.

It's a CAMRA site, so it's not true to say that it has no connection with any other site.
That said I use it a lot to find decent pubs when I am traveling and don't find it to be full of add

I'll stick to using my Wetherspoons app. Not a big fan of flat lukewarm beer anyway.

You remind me of Barry Humphries's Bazza McKenzie. Taking his first taste of British beer on his arrival in Earl's Court,
he splutters,

"Strewth, it's lukewarm!"
It's the same the whole world over
It's the poor what gets the blame
It's the rich what gets the pleasure
Isn't it a blooming shame?

Did you tick the option for open pubs only?

Lager is beer, but they have other beers as well as lager

Is that what Slim Dusty meant by The Pub with no Beer ?

I wouldn't be surprised to hear they have micro-breweries now, turning out beers for hipsters. At least in Sydney, if not the outback.
