Yes I was intrigued to see them in London too the other day and today in Brighton where, moreover, they appeared to have solar chargers built in - I'm surprised sufficient charge would be obtained from such a set-up, or maybe it is just supplementary?

Derby's E-bike hire scheme only lasted a year and didn't survive for that reason.
