I’ve no problem with a guest rider..

We need to pay the balance to the site owners soon. If you haven't already told us if you want breakfast at the first campsite Please confirm it now, the second site isn't bothered as the cafe is open anyway.
The nearest pub for the first evening meal is a couple of mile away from the site and I can't find any takeaway nearby.
I would like to know how many of us will be eating at the pub so I can book it I'm assuming the backup vehicle will transport us to the pub and back

I wouldn't want to guarantee Phil (the driver) won't want an ale or two in the pub. I think it would only be right to ask him and possibly find a volunteer to drive back after all, he is doing us a huge favour....

Also I discovered last week that the bakery in Alston has closed. I used to love their cakes
A guy was busy converting the shop into a cafe he described it as a cafe/ bistro I’m never enamoured to that word bistro.

I would be worried leaving an expensive bike outside a pub for a couple of hours

Last time I stayed on this site 5 years ago there were 3 of us and the site owners son drove us to the pub and picked us back up for a fiver
